From the Administrator- Grandparents’ Day Thank You!

One of the greatest joys of being part of the GCS family is the multi-generational support of our students by grandparents and great grandparents.  We had a great crowd at South Baptist Church last Friday for our annual Grandparents’ Day.  Grandparents were honored as students brought a “special weather report” through songs about God’s creation and sovereignty.

Pictured below is the elementary choir in the Grandparents Day finale. We are thankful for Mrs. Shannon’s leadership, Dr. Dan Steenson (pianist and GCS Alumnus), and all of the GCS elementary staff who made this day special for our grandparents.

We pray for continued generational blessings as we raise up the next generation of Soldiers for Christ!
