“Equipping Students to Learn, Lead, and Live for Christ”
Since 1974, Genesee Christian School has been committed to providing a strong, Christ-centered academic foundation that equips students for both lifelong learning and faithful service. With over 1,300 graduates, our legacy reflects a dedication to excellence in education grounded in biblical truth.
At GCS, we believe that academic growth and spiritual development go hand in hand. Our curriculum is designed to challenge students while nurturing their God-given abilities, encouraging them to think critically, communicate effectively, and pursue truth with confidence.
With a student-to-teacher ratio of 15:1, our classrooms provide a supportive and engaging environment where students are known, valued, and encouraged to succeed. Our teachers are not only skilled educators but also mentors who invest in the lives of their students both academically and spiritually.
We offer a wide range of academic opportunities, including more than 10 honors and advanced courses, allowing students to be challenged at higher levels and prepared for college and beyond. From foundational learning in the early years to rigorous coursework in middle and high school, our programs are designed to meet students where they are and help them grow.

Elementary School
Our elementary program builds a strong academic and spiritual foundation through a biblical worldview. Students engage daily in core subjects including Bible, reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Enrichment opportunities such as art, music, and physical education allow students to explore creativity and develop their God-given talents. Foreign language and technology are introduced early, building communication and digital skills in age-appropriate ways.
Student progress is monitored through standardized testing, helping us maintain high academic standards while providing individualized support. Small class sizes ensure each child receives personal attention and encouragement during these formative years.
Middle School
Our middle school program prepares students for the transition to high school by strengthening academic skills while encouraging responsibility, curiosity, and personal growth. Core instruction includes Bible, English/language arts, mathematics, science, history, and physical education—all taught from a biblical perspective.
Students also have opportunities to explore interests through enrichment courses such as foreign language, technology and graphic design, fine arts (including band and drama), and hands-on learning experiences like robotics.
These experiences help students develop critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills while discovering their unique gifts.
High School
Our high school program offers a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum designed to challenge students academically while strengthening their faith and character.
Students benefit from advanced coursework, including AP classes, along with small class sizes that allow for personalized instruction. Our students consistently perform above state and national averages on standardized tests, and more than 95% of graduates continue on to college, with many earning college credit through AP testing.
Beyond the classroom, students can participate in robotics, fine arts, student leadership organizations, and competitive athletics. These opportunities help develop discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills while preparing students for success in college and beyond.
At every grade level, our goal is to develop students who are not only academically prepared, but also grounded in faith, strong in character, and ready to impact the world for Christ.
