Vaccinations – 2026-27 School Year
Attention all UPCOMING kindergarten, 7th grade and NEW students.
According to the State of Michigan all transfer, kindergarten, and 7th grade students must have all their vaccinations up-to-date or a certified State of Michigan Immunization Waiver Form from the county health department on file. Kindergarten students must have a dental form on file as well. Please submit a copy of your child’s updated vaccinations to the school administrative office as soon as possible. If you choose not to receive some (or all) of your child’s vaccinations, you will need to obtain a certified State of Michigan Immunization Waiver Form from your county health department. You may do this during the summer. Vaccinations for the above groups are reported to the MI Health Department at the beginning of each year. Any questions, please contact gcs@geneseechristianschool.com

GCS Core Values
This week’s core value is Integrity.
Vacation Station
Summer is almost here and we want students to remember the things they learned over the past year. A great way to do this is with a Vacation Station from BJUPress. These books are full of reading, language and math to keep skills sharp.
Print out this form and return it with $15 by May 12: Vacation Station Form
Another option is to use our Math and Reading log to track students’ work over the summer. Students who complete either one will go on a picnic with Mrs. Arnst in the spring.
Bucks for Bibles
This Friday is our last Bucks for Bibles dress down day for the school year. Bring $2 to dress in comfy clothes (no leggings or shorts, please) for the day. Help us get started on our Bible Project for next year!
Kindergarten Enrollment
Do you know someone who has a five year old ready for kindergarten in the fall? We want to meet families personally and take them on their own tour of the school. Invite them to fill out an inquiry on our school website to schedule a tour or for more information.
It’s Spring!
Our playground can often be muddy. Please send boots or extra shoes, extra socks and outerwear with your child to keep them dry.
Field Day
Elementary Field Day will be Wednesday, May 27. Information was sent home in folders last week!
Summer Math and Reading Picnic
Students who completed Summer Math and Reading from last summer will be scheduled to go on a picnic with Mrs. Arnst soon!

If you need an official transcript sent to a college/university/foundation, please go to https://geneseechristianschool.com/alumni-2/ You will need to scroll down the page until you see the Transcript Request section, and submit your request through Parchment. All transcript requests must be submitted through Parchment.
ACT & SAT scores are listed on the transcript, but must be sent from the College Board to a college or university. GCS cannot order testing scores for students. Students will need to log in to their College Board account to order those results and send them to the college or university of their choice. AP scores may also be ordered from the College Board site. Class of 2026 make sure that you request a “final transcript” to be sent to your college of choice (see instructions above). Transcripts are only sent to a college or university when you have requested it – this is not “automatically” done for you.
