Enrollment for the 2025-2026 School Year Is Open
- Enrollment completed from March 1 – June 1 ensures a seat in classes.
- There is a discounted enrollment fee if paid by April 15.

* Enrollment note: The parent that receives the email for re-enrollment should be the first parent listed on the enrollment packet. This will reduce confusion and issues on the tuition side of FACTS. Please contact the administrative office if the wrong parent is listed as enrollment responsible.

Little Women
SCHOOL PLAY – Make your plans to join us for this year’s school play – Little Women: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, a play adapted from Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel which follows the lives of the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—as they navigate love, loss, and personal growth during the American Civil War. As the sisters experience the joys and hardships of family life, they learn about sacrifice, independence, and the true meaning of love. The play captures the warmth, humor, and emotional depth of Alcott’s beloved story.

Please be sure you are signing your child in and out on our ProCare app by using the QR code posted in each classroom.
AM & PM Latchkey Charges
Please remember that if you drop off your child before 7:45 am or pick them up after 3:15 pm they will be placed in daycare and charged a latchkey fee. Children arriving between 7:45 – 8 am will go to the gym, free of charge. Please contact Mrs. Britton at cbritton@geneseechristianschool.com or refer to the Daycare Handbook for more information.

It’s Spring!
Our playground will be muddy for the next several weeks. Please send boots, extra socks and outerwear with your child to keep them dry.
Auction Winners!
Congratulations to 2nd grade class for bringing in the most auction donations (grand total)! They will get a fun day out of school with Mrs. Denney to celebrate! Also 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade made it to the end of the game board and won a pizza party. Details coming soon!
Academic Testing
Elementary IOWA testing will begin Monday, April 14. It is important that students get good sleep and a healthy breakfast. Please do your best to make sure your students are at school on time for these important testing days.

HS MACS was Friday, March 14 and it was a fantastic day of competition.These students won in the following categories:

Junior-Senior Banquet
This year’s Junior-Senior Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 3rd. Tickets for the Junior-Senior Banquet will go on sale after Spring Break. Juniors and Seniors will receive details in their email soon.
Academic Testing
- MME Testing – Juniors will be participating in MME testing (ACT WorkKeys, SAT, and M-Step) on April 8-10th.
- PSAT 9 and PSAT 10 – All 9th graders will be taking the PSAT 9 on Tuesday, April 15th. All 10th graders will be taking the PSAT 10 on Monday, April 14th.
- IOWA Testing – Students in 6th-8th grades will be participating in the CogAT and IOWA testing on April 14-16.
*Please do your best to make sure that your students are at school on time for these important testing dates.

Spring Team Picture Day: Spring Team & Individual Photos are scheduled for middle school and high school spring sports teams on Thursday, 4/10 right after school (3:15). Bring complete uniforms and be ready right after school. Everyone must be in the team pictures which are used for the yearbook. Individual pictures will only be taken if you tell the photographer you are ordering.

Spring Sports Athletic Physicals🩺 :
If your student is planning to participate in spring soccer, baseball or golf please make sure they have turned in a completed MHSAA sports physical signed by a physician dated on or after April 15, 2024. Current physicals are required on file before coming to first practice. This applies to high school and middle school sports. Forms must be on file at the school athletic office before try-outs, practices, or games.

*HS Sports Fees of $150 will be due by April 8th

Each student athlete must pay the following sports fee per athlete/per sport/per season. These fees should be turned in by cash or check made payable to GCS to the Athletic Office before the first game.
