Picture Retake Day- 10/30
Picture retakes are scheduled for Wednesday, October 30. Students who were absent on our original picture day will have their picture taken on retake day.

The Christmas season is approaching QUICKLY! During November and December Raise Right offers a wide variety of bonuses including $5 and $10 gift cards. Orders for physical cards will be placed on the following Tuesdays at 9am 11/5, 11/19, 12/3 and 12/10.
Blood Drive
The Honor Society students of Genesee Christian School are reaching out into our community by sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive.
The blood drive is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024 from 9:00am to 2:45pm in the High School Cafeteria.

We will be having a special Bucks for Bibles this Friday, October 25th. In anticipation of the big game on Saturday, it will be a “Great Divide” day – pay $1 to wear sweats or athletic pants and your favorite Michigan or Michigan State gear on that day!
Auction News
Parents, please check your child’s folder for an important letter about the auction class project for this year. Each class, as a group, is donating a basket (or item) to help support the auction and WE NEED YOUR HELP! The letter explains all of the details of this project. Thanks in advance for your help!
Operation Christmas Child Boxes
Earlier this year we had a special chapel speaker who had grown up in the Middle East and received a Shoebox when he was young. He shared what this gift meant to him and his family, especially the life changing Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ. Our goal is for each class to pack at least two boxes this year – one for a boy and one for a girl. Students will write letters, color pictures, and pray for the children who receive these boxes as they hear and respond to the salvation message.
Families may send in items to be packed or if you would like to order through Amazon you may view our “wish list” here: https://a.co/7WGadNz. This link is also a great way to get shopping ideas if you choose to shop personally. Boxes need to be packed by the beginning of November!
We also need financial donations for shipping the boxes – at $10 per box we are looking to raise around $200 just for the shipping. If you are able to help with shipping please send in cash or a check payable to GCS to the elementary office.
Fall Weather is HERE
With the arrival of cooler weather, the grass is wet for morning gym classes and recess. Please send a jacket and an extra pair of socks with your child.
Christmas Store
We are looking for parent volunteers to help with the Elementary Christmas Store December 2-6. Needs are: setting up, helping students shop and wrapping gifts, among other things. Please reach out to Mrs. Forsyth at SForsyth@geneseechrististianschool.com if you are interested.

Annual Fall Fundraiser
Time to stock up with Little Caesars Pizza Kits. Have a pizza on hand for quick dinners, birthday parties or entertaining. The pizza kits are fun to make and delicious to eat. This optional fundraiser earns money for students to be applied to their upcoming Mackinaw, Creation, Washington DC, and/or Senior Trip. Athletic Physicals🩺
Students planning to participate in athletics MUST have a physical form on file by the first day of practice. This form must be the MHSAA form completed and signed by a physician on or after April 15, 2024. This applies to high school and middle school sports. Forms must be on file at the school athletic office before try-outs, practices, or games.

Sports Fee
Each student athlete must pay the following sports fee per athlete/per sport/per season. These fees should be turned in by cash or check made payable to GCS to the Athletic Office before the first game.

Soldier Soccer:
