- Enrollment completed from March 1 – June 1 ensures a seat in classes.
- There is a discounted enrollment fee if paid by April 15.

Auction News
We are very excited for the 15th Annual Benefit Auction, which will take place on Saturday, March 16 at 5pm at the Genesys Banquet Center! Once there, bidding will be done through your electronic device via BidPal. This makes it fast and easy to bid on silent auction items, as well as speeds up the check-out process by paying right from your device with a credit card (please note: there is a 3.5% transaction fee). You still have the option to pay that evening with cash or check. Please email cflory@geneseechristianschool.com with any questions.
This year’s “Raise Your Paddle” projects include bathroom renovations at the elementary school and some boiler updates at the high school. Our goal is to raise $50,000 for these projects. Please prayerfully consider donating to this project. Donations can be made at http://bidpal.net/gcsauction24 or you can send a check in to the school office. Your generous contribution is greatly appreciated!
If any GCS family or friends are unable to attend the in-person auction event you still have an opportunity to donate to the Raise Your Paddle projects or bid on silent auction items. Look for details in an email this week!

Save the Date- April 2
Support the Varsity Girls Soccer team at Culver’s in Davison on Tuesday, April 2 from 10am to 10pm. Get a flyer from either school office and present it to the cashier to have a percentage of the sale from your meal go towards this fundraiser. Funds raised will go towards getting new uniforms. Go Soldiers!
GCS Family Fun Day- April 13
Join us Saturday April 13 from 10am-12pm for a GCS only event at Rollhaven.
Skaters– $10, Skate/Blade rental- $5 Adult spectators– Free
Bounce house for littles– $3 Laser tag– $5 per game
We would love to see you there and we look forward to spending the morning with our GCS family!
A portion of the money raised goes towards the Class of 2024 senior trip.
Little Leaders Preschool/Daycare and Latchkey
AM & PM Latchkey Reminders
Please remember that if you drop off your child before 7:45 am or pick them up after 3:15 pm, they will be placed in daycare and incur a latchkey fee. Children arriving between 7:45 – 8 am will go to the gym, free of charge. Please contact Mrs. Britton at cbritton@geneseechristianschool.com or refer to the Daycare Handbook for more information.
Summer Program
Our summer program begins Monday, June 3 at 7 am. If you would like your child to attend this program, please contact the daycare office for information at 810.743.3110 #2 or email Mrs. Kubczak at kkubczak@geneseechristianschool.com.
Daycare/Preschool Enrollment
We are taking applications for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your child in our program, please contact Mrs. Kubczak at kkubczak@geneseechristianschool.com to schedule a tour.
All students 4 years old and younger must enroll through the daycare/preschool program.
Latchkey Snacks
We are offering a variety of snacks for your child to purchase while they are in PM Latchkey. Latchkey
snack tickets are available at $15 each.
Good Friday- Daycare Closed
The daycare will be closed Friday, March 29 for Good Friday.

Auction News

Lego Robotics–3rd and 4th grade
Join us on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30 for Robotics Club. Parents are encouraged to come and participate in the fun! The last Robotics Club meeting for this year is March 19th.
Boys Jet League Basketball:
Clean uniforms will be due back to the office by Friday, March 15th
Kindergarten Enrollment (K5)

Middle/High School
Creation Trip Meeting
There is a mandatory meeting scheduled for Monday, March 18 at 7 p.m. for ALL Creation Trip participants. The final itinerary, rooming list, and general information will be distributed and discussed.

The next competition will be March 22-23 – Midland Week 4 District Competition
Yearbooks

Academic Testing
- MME Testing – Juniors will be participating in MME testing (ACT WorkKeys, SAT, and M-Step) on April 9-11th.
- PSAT 9 and PSAT 10 – All 9th graders will be taking the PSAT 9 on Tuesday, April 16th. All 10th graders will be taking the PSAT 10 on Monday, April 15th.
- IOWA Testing – Students in 6th-8th grades will be participating in the IOWA testing on April 16-17.
*Please do your best to make sure that your students are at school on these important testing dates.
Athletics
Soldier Socks Sale:

Athletic Physicals
Students planning to participate in athletics MUST have a physical form on file by the first day of practice. This form must be the MHSAA form completed and signed by a physician on or after April 15, 2023. This applies to high school and middle school sports. Forms must be on file at the school athletic office before try-outs, practices, or games.

Sports Fee
Each student athlete must pay the following sports fee per sport/per season. These fees should be turned in by cash or check made payable to GCS to the Athletic Office before the first game.

7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Uniform Return: Uniforms should be washed and returned within one week of the last game / competition. Clean Uniforms will be due back to the athletic office on Tuesday, March 12th. We appreciate your promptness
Varsity Girls Basketball Uniform Return: Uniforms should be washed and returned within one week of the last game/competition. Please return your uniform to the GCS athletic office by Thursday, March 14th to avoid a $5 late fee. We appreciate your promptness!
Varsity Spring Practices begin TODAY !!!!
