Scrip

Tax Season – Day Care Statements
If you would like a copy of your 2023 daycare statement, please email Cheryl Britton at cbritton@geneseechristianschool.com and request a copy. Statements will be issued on a first come first served basis, and will be emailed directly to you. Paper copies available upon request. Accounts can also be viewed on FACTS SIS.
Early Dismissal Reminder – Do you need Child Care?
School is dismissed at noon on Friday January 19th. Please email KKubczak@geneseechristianschool.com by Friday, January 12th, to secure a spot for latchkey on that day.

Athletics
Athletic Physicals
Students planning to participate in athletics MUST have a physical form on file by the first day of practice. This form must be the MHSAA form completed and signed by a physician on or after April 15, 2023. This applies to high school and middle school sports. Forms must be on file at the school athletic office before try-outs, practices, or games.

Sports Fee
Each student athlete must pay the following sports fee per sport/per season. These fees should be turned in by cash or check made payable to GCS to the Athletic Office before the first game.
JV/Varsity – $100.00
Junior High – $75.00
Jet League – $50.00
Friday, January 5th!!! We will be having our annual “Athletic Senior Night” on Friday, January 5th right after the Varsity Girls basketball game and before the Varsity Boys warm up. This is a night in which we honor the seniors who have participated in Athletics at Genesee Christian in 9th-12th grades.
We ask that seniors and their escorts assemble in the hall outside of the gym at 7 pm. Mrs. Walls will be there to help athletes and their escorts lineup.
🏐7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball:

🏀Middle School Boys Basketball
Please turn in your uniforms into the athletic office by Monday, January 8th. Clean uniforms are due back one week after the last game. Please place clean uniforms in the blue return bin located in the athletic office.

*Sports physicals are not required for this league, but each player is required to pay a sports fee of $50 cash or check made payable to GCS by January 5th.

⚾️HS Baseball Open Gym Workouts:
Beginning January 6th Coach Payne will be starting baseball open gyms every Saturday from 7pm-9pm in HS Gym.
High School Basketball
JV Boys / Varsity Boys / Varsity Girls Basketball Team & Individual Photos will be taken Thursday, January 25th right after school (3:15). Bring complete uniforms (home and away) and be ready right after school. Everyone must be in the team picture which is used for the yearbook. Individual pictures will only be taken if you tell the photographer you are ordering.
